With a career that spans more than 30 years, Taryn Schneider is a marketing communications specialist and journalist with specific focus on the industries of travel, leisure and business.
In April of 1993, she established Taryn Schneider Communications in order to fully utilize her communications experience, writing expertise, media relations and knowledge of the hospitality, travel and leisure marketplace accumulated in her long and active career in the international marketplace. Since that time, she has worked on behalf of a prestigious group of clients requiring highly specialized communications services, incorporating marketing, public relations, writing, promotions, publishing, web design and special events.

Her services range from strategic planning and implementation of targeted action plans to conducting press conferences, openings, product launches; media management and story placement; writing services (articles, websites, scripts, speeches, press releases, advertising and marketing copy, custom publishing); broadcast and print promotions; special events; web development and community outreach programs.
Taryn Schneider started her career as a journalist for Travel Agent, and spent the next decade in a range of publishing, television producing and journalistic endeavors. She joined Kahn Travel Communications as Vice President in 1990, which would signal the start of her public relations endeavors.
From September 1997 to May 1999, Ms. Schneider launched the 800-room Loews Miami Beach Hotel, directing the property’s pre-opening and grand opening marketing/public relations efforts. In that realm, she was responsible for creating and implementing the $135 million hotel’s strategic marketing communications and public relations program, incorporating media relations, promotions, employee and community relations. To celebrate the hotels’ grand opening, she organized the property’s opening gala benefit that raised more than $700,000 for Pediatric AIDS and generated key media coverage worldwide.
Throughout her career, she has traveled around the world and lived in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Asheville, British Columbia, Australia, the Dominican Republic and Italy.
